Kobus, Ive ridden a lot for Brett. Trust me when I tell you that he is the most professional trainer I have ever worked with. So what if he inherited top horses, they still had to be trained didnt they? Do you think Angus and Lassierfaire won Group races because they were inherited?? They won because they were well prepared by Brett and his team. I can guarantee you 1 thing, Brett will go on to be a top class trainer.

Mark,
I couldn't agree with you more. It doesn't matter if a horse comes from a sale or from another tainer. It is still up to the CURRENT trainer to condition them and nominate them for races.
Good luck to Brett wherever he may go!

Have they tried EPO..
the big races are won by the EPO stayers..???
what does the jockey club say about EPO...
as far as I can gather..they are OK with it..
do they agree..the big races are won by the EPO stayers...

Its all about racing, hence the interest....
Brett had the best winner strike rate for at least the first five season averaging 20 %. You don't call that under achieving. It got pear shaped when ,as said earlier, breeding started.
Obviously, the acid test when he goes it alone
