Increased horse population? Training boxes are full?

I thought the stats showed that we were down something like 30% in numbers over the last few years or so.

Hibs, with respect, I am not talking about the occasional answer to easily answered 'good news' questions, but also addressing more difficult questions covering the 'not so good news; in short we need some balence.'

I believe this forum is open to all categories, debates and opinions as long as it is shared with a common goal and a bit of decency.

We can start any thread we want and discuss the hell out of it, the problem is that the powers that be may take note of us but they hardly ever read our comments and most certainly never take them to heart!

For me the bottom line is Phumelela is now a listed company who have ONE thing and ONE thing only on the brain. Make money!!!!
How do you make money? with a big push on a high return low investment initiative..This initiative is called "International racing".
Costs them MUCh less than local racing and they are still managing to extract pools from all over. Local racing costs them too much. They don't want to pay for the upkeep of the race courses or stakes or any other old thing. Why do you think teir CEO said...(Who lives in England btw) No more stakes increases this year but we will grow our international investments!!! Now there is a surprise!!!

How can we compete???? I am out of suggestions as I can only suggest what I already have in other articles to try and get more punters interested and punting in this game....Not sure there are any other answers. The one side wants better treatment and more realistci racing scheduling.....the other side wants MONEY!!!
Who do you think will win??????????????
