Lush Lashes has a date with Sea The Stars after Jim Bolger went to 1.8million guineas(R22.5m) to retain his triple Group One winner at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale.
Bolger bought out his partner, John Corcoran, to keep hold of the Coronation Stakes and Yorkshire Oaks heroine and will now put her into the breeding sheds as a top-class broodmare.
The County Carlow maestro has applied for seven nominations to the record-breaking Sea The Stars and plans to have Lush Lashes - who landed the Goffs Fillies Million on her racecourse debut - covered by the Guineas-Derby-Arc winner.
"I have bought out my partner. He is happy and I am happy and hopefully she will go to Sea The Stars," said Bolger.
"My partner isn't really keen to have too many broodmares so we put her up and I think it was a fair price.
"She would have fetched more a couple of years ago but we have to deal with reality and she doesn't owe us anything.
"She is the only animal to win a million first time out and will be for some time to come.
"She was a super racemare and I hope she will be a super broodmare."
Bolger has also retired this year's 1000 Guineas second Cuis Ghaire after she finished down the field on her return to the track this autumn.
"She didn't come back and has been retired," confirmed Bolger.
"Hopefully she will go to Sea The Stars as well and watch out for her sister in training next year."

How many foals did it take Cape Cross to come up with Sea the Stars?
So your question is whether somebody would like to gry to come up with another one and breed a few hundred mares to accomplish the feat, instead of just breeding the mare to Sea the Stars?
Do you get it now?

Cape Cross is the least desirable element of the Sea the Stars package. I'd gamble on his excellent racing ability and the superb Urban Sea racing/breeding factor overcoming the fact that is by a less-than-top flight sire of colts with zero qualifications as a sire of sires.
