Lay of the day, Villandry, suspect over 1200m and with the going heavy I have my doubts even at the weights.

C&C hope that your Fire will smoke them but I like me roughies...for a moment or two it looked to be Alvaro but I have one more shotgun round for the last race in Cape Town....7 Castle Rock a big runner but watch out for 8 World Trip to shred Pick 6 tickets...

Greg..in defence of Villandry whom I believe to be a very good sprinter...the heavy going suited Kapil like a glove.
But I take your point...the cupboards pretty bare...

Well guys Karl gets a lot of stick on this forum but you gotta give credit where its due and 5 winners deserves a mention at the very least!
I'm sure his critics will be at his throat pretty soon when the next short priced favourite goes awol tho!

Criticism, is sometimes a good thing.
I don't believe that many of the views expressed in previous threads about KN, was about personal dislike for the jock, but rather about the numerous times he sat on a 'good thing", and let the punters down, and in probably 8 out of 10 times, this resulted in upset payouts, which leads one to believe, that there may have been some kind of premedition, in manipulating payouts.
......perhaps the man has read the threads, and had a re-think.
Brilliant riding. This is the stuff we need, and let's hope it continues.
About time the powers that be, shift emphasis from 'top stables" and "top owners" to creating a bigger incentive for jocks to "ride like the wind", irrespective on whose mount they are sitting on
