Another issue not resolved after complaint: Telebet operators dropping calls!

Sorry to dissapont Rob but I HAVE!! And the result ZERO(waited years for numerous call backs never received one(this does not include Margaret who was always willing to help but contacting her is a priveledge that the common punter does not have!!) The point now is that I've heard you now can ask for a reference(before none was forthcoming) And with email you can see if your mail has been read and now have PROOF that you have tried to remedy the situation before going for the big stick of the gambling board. Sometimes the very technology that alienates you from your customer might just be the proof needed to show that you completely ignored them!!

I think I'm with Mr. H here. We should at least have some proof that we tried to follow protocol and contact the operator for answers.

The GGB option is not dead to us, just a last resort. Once Phumelela has decided to not answer our concerns (inevitable??) then we take allthe proof to the GGB (just not the national gaming board, they mean nothing)

Crack on boys,do what you like and good luck......but what exactly is your question going to be?Some vague dissatisfaction with payouts that you think should be higher,is hardly going to have them jumping up and down...your complaint needs to be specific and if you get no response(I have outstanding answers for over a year) are you going to report the boss to the boss.

Mr H,I have no doubt that "P" entire management is aware of the various feelings expressed on the websites(many more than one complainant) and the total response has been that idiotic press release.
The problem,as I have said,is how do you express your complaint? I,like anybody who has raced for any length of time,know something is wrong.....but how do you turn that into an enquiry?I can't see the board responding to a"I think the payouts should be higher"
This is a perfect example of bad management and a lot of damage will have been done before the present bunch are replaced.
(it is rumoured that some senior "P" management have sold a lot of their"P" shares)

I think that perhaps a look back at past results - horses paying between R1-10 to R1-40 a few months ago now almost all are paying R1-00. Futher the amount of local horses suddenly paying over R10(some even more) a place per meeting is bizarre. These things cannot change and any reasonable man would never continue to back horses at R1 a place so any reasonable member of the gaming board would smell a rat/s!!
