Over 20mls rain at Big T last night and after working horses on the track at 10am this morning it was decided racing could not go ahead tonight. Attempts will be made to reschedule this meeting.

Now that they have lights at Turffontein it should be dead easy to reschedule all lost meetings, while making them stand-alones. I can't see why it should required to much "attempting", to be quite honest,

I thought they were considering the Vaal?

WHY NOT POSTPONE to Wed or Thursday night at big T.
There aren't many sprint races around for horses with a MR 100 +, so i suppose we'll have to wait ANOTHER month or 2 before we get to race these horses.
use the inside track if they have to, to save the outside track for Saturday.

Also can't figure out why it would be difficult to reschedule, could it be that the Pigss Peak guys are insisting on a Tuesday night (or perhaps the lights only work on Tuesdays - lol) - I suppose they also need to make sure that the track holds up for the meetings scheduled for Saturday and Sunday
