Sly,
She needed the outing and she ran with blinkers as well. Not sure why though. I would assume the just wanted to get her sharpened up for later races.
Give her another chance. She will improve!

Some comments from connections of Guineas runners...
Saeed Bin Suroor, trainer of Ishitaki and Siyaadah
"They are both nice fillies who have been going well in their work and this is obviously a race we have a good record in. Ishitaki is a Group 1 winner on both turf and dirt and handles the Tapeta well at Al Quoz. Siyaadah won well on her debut and seems to be improving all the time. Hopefully both can runwell."
Stephane Chevalier, assistant to Jerry Barton, trainer of Mensajera De La Luz
"We resisted the temptation to run her in the prep race under a penalty and she is fresh and well. We like her a lot and are hoping for a big run but it does look a lot better race than last year when we won with So Shiny."
Pascal Bary, trainer of Opera Comica
"She is a nice filly with good form in Brazil. She had one run in France and has settled in well in Dubai. It looks a tough race though."
Mike De Kock, trainer of Raihana
"We were very pleased with her win in the prep race and the extra furlong should certainly be in her favour. She has continued to work well since and has progressed from that run. Obviously she is not so well in at the weights with some of them this time but we have to hope she willgo very close."
Antonio Cintra Pereira, trainer of Talenta
"She ran very well first time behind Raihana and does not have a Group 1 penalty this time. She should run well."
Robert Cowell, trainer of Absolute Music
"She ran well enough first time but clearly faces a stiff task to reverse form with those in front of her."
Ger Lyons, trainer of Berg Bahn
"She is a very nice filly but is going to progress for the run and experience. Whatever she achieves in Dubai, she will hopefully be a lovely filly in the summerand she is loving the weather."
Mark Johnston, trainer of Bikini Babe
"She is very well and will relish the step up in trip but I really do feel that the southern hemisphere three-year-olds have a big advantage at this time of year, and will be very hard to beat."
Tadhg O'Shea, jockey of Diamond Laura
"It is a good race this year but my filly is honest and tough; she will give her best and battle."
Pat Smullen, jockey of Muntherah
"She should run well and I know they expected a better run first time. She needs to improve markedly on that but hopefully she can be competitive."
Robert Havlin, jockey of Silver Grey
"She ran a great race behind the South African filly (Raihana) last time and should have come on for the run. Obviously this is a better race, but she is in great form and should give a good account of herself."
Ted Durcan, jockey of Waasemah
"I was delighted with her run behind Raihana last time and that was only her third start. I sat on her Tuesday morning and she is in really good form, and the trainer is certain she has progressed from that run. The extra furlong will suit and she will not be far away with luck."

Pity that our Giant is scratched. Was the one I was most looking forward to seeing run this evening.
Now I guess we will have to shout for War Artist in that race???
