Tha'ts what happens when you put a RAW appy on a horse....Looses two lengths and never in the race.....(Barthez)

Oh well. Well done to HTD. He is a great PE horse, no doubt about it!!

At best Barthez should have run 2nd. This was one of HTD's easiest wins ever.

I was thinking that Magic but not got the confidence to say it,plus his run at Kenilworth was excellent 1.5 L behind the winner after setting the pace on the wrong side imo

Hib, the problem with HTD is that his MR was way too low in PE today as it turned out, but it's too high outside of PE even if he may indeed had a lousy draw in Cape Town. I'm glad I'm not a handicapper try to reconcile the two!

HTD is a great horse and well done to all the connections 31 wins and still going strong and as Andrew said this is the best he has ever felt him.By the way HTD was the horse that stumbled at the pens.

Might be worth a bash, pirates, but there's the altitude issue and it's a long and not very nice trip from PE. Still, if he was mine I would consider it rather than die wondering.

Magic surely if they bring the horse up well in advance, Altitude will not play a part?? Thats an excuse in my books, these Cape trainers have no balls....

Possibly, greg. And can the altitude be such a big issue over 1000m?
