Okay, now they've straightened it out, getting it right the first time being way too much to expect.
< Going is soft, and rainfall figures have swopped around to actually make sense.

Blind leading the blind comes to mind...
Was the slowest 1200m time on the day,
So how does Sweet Pie get the high rating?

::oIt did rain between the earlier races and the later races on that day, when most of the races around the turn were cancelled, so comparing times from the first part of the meeting to the last is misleading and pointless. Acrually I was impressed with Sweetie Pie, even allowing for the fact that heavy going often strings fields out, and I think she could be good enough to prove the handicapper right today. The longer distance suits her even better, I would think, and after that maiden win she obviously shouldn't be troubled by the soft going.
However, it looked like an extremely tough card even before the going turned soft, so stand by for some of the usual KZN off-season mayhem.(
