Trying to get these oke's to see things from a punters perspective, is the equivalent of trying to get Malema to do or say something sensible, or rathe like trying to get him to shut up.......proof that you CAN make money by been an idiot.....
The future of the hard working, honest & upstanding citizens, is at risk.
Just as every government run concern, has proved to be a milking pot of public funds, there is absolutely no reason, to believe, that "P" should be any different.
So my view on carryovers, just another way to boost pools, so to increase the amount that gets siphoned off.
Anyone ever consider this
1. Pools generated by carryovers, end up with favourites winning.
2. Ninety % of the bets taken by the majority of punters, will in all probability be for a %, i.e ranging from 1% to perhaps 20 or 30%, which according to the "man in the
street", gives him a chance to collect a % of a "bigger pool", not much different to the Lotto carryover, thinking...the more I spend the better the chance I have
3. So, if races are scheduled, which result in Pick6 carryovers, why not have the carryover, scheduled to another race meeting, with the possibility of similar results.
4. As for the other Ten% of exclusive "punters" who play full % bets, or multiples there off, carryovers, could be quite a betting coup, using 90% of public funds.
5. I will not sell my soul, my wellbeing, or my future, for material gain, as enticing as it may be.. all I can say is "God Help this Beautiful Country'', because these visionless self serving, idiot(or should it be eedjot) leaders, certainly do not have a clue.
My apologies, if this takes a politic line. It is becoming extremely difficult, not to acknowledge, the impact of politics on normal living.

They must know that with Durban racing there is a better chance of a c/o than anywhere else. God knows we produce enough of them.

Another week another misguided p6 pool estimate.Saturday was Champions day,the 1st day of a new month.People therefore still(supposedly) have money in their pocket,we have a p6 co of nearly R1 million and an estimate that the pool will reach R5 million.
The final nett pool was less than 3,4 million.
1)Is there any chance we can now start getting some accurate estimates?
2)Can we now assume that because the feature season has now moved to Natal that yesterdays Jhb p6 co will now go onto Durban this weekend?
3)Will we ever get another response in the 'What's Really Going On' section of the tabonline site(the last post being the assurance on the 3rd feb that an audit confirms that no bets are taken after the pools have closed),or has nothing of note or anything of any real significance actually happened in the last 3 months in PGE world.
On this note I can only assume it has something to do with the fact that those of us that bother to keep the industry alive both with our passion and punting have spoken nothing but absolute tripe on these forums and therefore don't warrant a response to anything we say anyway.

Morning JAP my take is that the tote are loosing market share on a daily basis and the estimates projected are based on historic data.
They still have the smaller punters in poor facilities but to the punters that read forums and probably punt more have been lost to the fixed odds markets and they now punt with bookies using open bets in quality premises.
just my thoughts :S

100% correct,I am the perfect example of the latter part of your statement.
It needn't be that way though, but PGE chose to either ignore their clients or treat them like shit. They offer incentives to overseas clients to attract them to our markets, but treat their current core market with disdain.I am at the end of my tether about caring about the industry now though,I bet to make a profit and as such will only care only about myself in future as opposed to worrying about the state of the industry.PGE has frustrated me to the point of submission.I have decided to no longer make any suggestions for the betterment of the industry,it simply isn't worth the personal frustrations that come with it.
