All this and I STILL can't get tickets to a match in Durban.

Only 5 games are sold out with 300 000 tickets remaining unsold

they should flogg them at half price a week before the game....

And they havnt opened the Durban semi nor the final..its a disgrace

The semi or final? I still haven't been able to get a ticket for ANY Durban match, and NONE of them are sold out. Tickets are just 'not available' whatever that means. To be fair, there were some 'category 1' tickets available the last time I checked for two matches, but I'm not that rich.

What I want to know is, if there are so many tickets unsold, why am I not allowed to buy any (and I've tried four ot five times)?

Good question Sabre..I think they holding back tickets to good matches eg final until all the kak match tickets are sold out

I also have to ask what 'exactly does "not available" mean'. I heard a suggestion that FIFA is deliberately trying to fill up the lesser stadiums by temporarily "closing" the more popular ones. I got Germany v Ghana, Argentina v S. Korea and one next round of 16 guessing Italy v Cameroon but still looking for more in Jhb/Pret.

Ridiculous.
