Minnows vs the Sharks?

Great to see William Muir with the favourite for the St Leger on Saturday (Pyldriver), think he`s only got 20 odd horses in his yard these days.

To think he never attracted a single bid when he went through the ring

True Bob has displaced Santiago as the long standing favourite.

... and Darain, who flopped in the same race, was the sale topper Book 1 at the Tattersalls sales at 3.5million Guineas.

Frankie rides Santiago, has always been my slight preference and that seals the deal.

I love the Pyledriver story but can we really forget English King?
He was the buzz horse before the derby and beat pyledriver fair. He was finishing well on a tough track. Maybe 10's isn't a bad price over the extra?

Frankie could have a couple of winners for AOB.
WICHITA has run well in top company and I like SANTIAGO in the Leger.

So, the improving Galileo wins it for three young O'Brien.
Pyledriver cost himself at least a winning shout by running all over the course. Perhaps didn't quite see it out?
