Champions Day at Ascot Oct 17th

Some good racing on Sat from Ascot
Balmoral handicap, Champion Fillies and Mares,
Long Distance where Stradivarius should get back on winning ways at evens.
Champion Stakes where Magical can win again around 2/1
Champion Sprint where Dream of Dreams will top the boards at 2/1 ish but maybe we should give Art Power an ew punt at 16/1.
Queen Elizabeth where Palace Pier looks special and should be the daily banker at around 8/10.
Good Punting

Cape Byron and Century Dream my four way double for the day.... win double 268/1. I must say Hollywoodbets place prices are shocking.

Great day of racing, muddy, here is my wild guessing for the day considering it’s the end of the season and going to be a challenging day;
Race 1: Sovereign 12/1
Race 2: One Master 5/1
Race 3: Mehdaayih 13/2
Race 4: Palace Pier 8/10
Race 5: Skaletti 10/1
Race 6: Symbolize 33/1
Hopefully Supersport have that great coverage from ITV to break away from the norm...

Stradivarius not the same horse anymore bookies would have had it well into the red . Fujaira Prince is my choice just hope that he lasts the 2 miles as it will all come down to which horse has the stamina to see out the distance

...but surely these days Strad needs more than 12 furlongs?

Stradivarius, the latter stages of the Arc was rough, not that he would have won, but finished 1.5 behind Enable the 12/10 favourite, and 6.75 off overall. Now back against "lesser" opposition, should win this.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Wasn't this race just a few yds short of 2 miles.
Stradivarious was gone very early today. In this type of going ,after the Arc he shouldn't be running.
MISHRIFF was pulled out of the Arc and has a chance.
