IS IT GREED.

I watched one of our racing legends Legal Eagle running in PE yesterday. My memory of this horse who i believe was most probably one of the greatest milers we have seen in action in SA.I remember it running in the Jooste silks, and when the huge scandal took place he was quickly moved on.Nonetheless it was a sad sight that the "Greed"seeing a horse that earned in excess of 12 million and as an 8 year old with many accolades winning Gr 1 races etc was put out onto the racetrack.The history and greatness that we all remember of this Turf legend has gone up in smoke,and i ask myself "WHY" is it "Greed" when is it enough.
