WSB query

Any advice please :-

Good evening

I still have not received the 10 digit sms regards the cash send withdrawal.

Here’s a timeline of events and balances in account 49649 :-

Saturday (13/02) balance is R 6 150.00, did a cash send withdrawal for R 3 000.00 – balance R 3 150.00.
Sunday (2.00am on the 14/02) did another cash send withdrawal for R 3 000.00 – balance R 150.00.

Get an e mail stating one was reversed because I have made two cash send withdrawals within 24 hours, and that is not allowed. The second R 3 000.00 was never credited back into my account.

Took a bet on Sunday for R 50.00, and another bet for R 100.00, the current balance is R 0.90, I am happy with that.

Question is, when can I expect the second sms with the 10 digit code, because due to the current balance, I cannot re-do the cash send request. By the same token, WSB has R 3 000.00 of my money and 48 hours has transpired and still no sms.

Yours sincerely

Thanks Bob, will try that. No i have not received the second sms, i have live chatted with about 10 people so so, each sounds so sincere, "leave it with me", only never to hear from them again.

The big issue, WSB do not understand the words daily or day, therein lies the problem. One could do a cash send withdrawal at 23h59 and another at 00.01, it is not the same day nor date, never mind both transactions took place in under 5 minutes.

Thanks again

Just can't win with WSB. Completed my bank details thinking this would expedite withdrawals - two chances. Did a withdrawal last night at 7.00pm, checked my account, no deposit from WSB. Just spoke to an agent on their live chat, querying the transfer, tells me the department closed before 7.00pm and only starts works at 10.00am today, but the process can take 48 hours!

Hell's Teeth, here's me thinking let me try something different to avoid the frustration.

Hi, the withdrawal time is there when you click withdrawal etc on all their methods.

Although it can take just a few hours to process, they do state the below in plain sight.

“South African Account Holders-When processing a withdrawal, please allow a maximum of 2 working days for the withdrawal to reflect into your account.
Credit Card Payments/Refunds can take up to 5 working days for the withdrawal to reflect into your account.”

Believe it or not I dont punt online. I punt with a well known bookie and have done so for almost 30 years. Part of the enjoyment is phoning through and having a chat. If i want to withdraw guess what I do? I call! The money will be paid within an hour of my request.

These mega bookmaking chains good luck to you all. I prefer the personal interaction

OTA, those guys are far and between.

Personal story, many years back accidentally threw away a winning ticket i had taken with Michael Weare in Salisbury Centre. You know the wait 30 days and if the ticket is not presented story, well when he walked in, long time employee Katz explained what had happened, and Micheal, whom i used to talk to regularly, just said settle the bet after checking their books.

Agree, that personal interaction does not exist any longer with the bigger bookies.
