The West Indies have appeared to turn their form around so Zimbabwe could be in for another loss. When this West Indies side click they can beat anybody. Gayle has been poor and all he needs is some time at the crease and score around 40. Then watch him go in the remaining matches. Samuels is another who needs to score big. West Indies/India/Ireland and one of SA or Pakistan to go through.

Agree with you Chicken. There needs to be more spark to keep us watching. Let's hope the games to come get exciting.

I agree with you CnC, I have always been a fan of the WI and the way they play. Esp in the eighties. Their approach to the game win or loose always with huge smiles.
I wish our wankers can get some fire up their backsides and go for it ! They need to get the "vibe" going and stop making excuses.

The Proteas have come into the world cup thinking that they just have to go through the motions and they will be into the quarter finals. Oh no it does not work like that and they are facing an uphill struggle. Steyn is way off form as is Morkel. Philander could miss a couple of matches and Parnell is just not up to it.

Grab the 5/10 on Ireland in the innings break. The wicket looks very good they have a solid batting line up (chasing over 300 to beat the WI) and the UAE have no strike bowlers.

Scotland are only playing in their 2 nd WC and have not won it

Proteas are playing in their 7th WC and have not won it

the West Indies play on confidence and with Gayle, Samuels and Holder performing so well the otherday they are flying. SA without Philander are going to struggle unless Steyn gets back into form. Its all going to end in tears for the over confident Proteas team and the fans. Cricket is played on the pitch and not in the media or on forums or in pubs.
