Knock yourselves out as this is such a bore. Teams batting first will get between 140 and 170 with the occasional team getting close to 200 and maybe 3 or 4 matches 200 plus will be scored

Every 4 or 6 hit and the fireworks will start accompanied by loud music and girls dancing on a platform.

The cameras will pan their way around the ground but mostly will be showing the egotistical owners of the teams. Just a long winded boring comp which has long past its sell by date in this formula.

Shorter tournament will make it more worthwhile to watch

Ravi Shastri ex player and now commentator has said that earning 2 core (300k USD) is peanuts. I got news for you Mr Shastri. Why dont you go and work in one of the many scooter bike jobs scattered around all of the Indian cities or go and work in a market stall, get up at 4 in the morning to start preparing your stall for the rush of people. At the end of the day add up your takings less your out goings and then tell me if earning 300k usd over a season playing grade A is peanuts. I can smell the arrogance from here

Must say the Aussie's have found the best formula with the Big Bash. It is my favorite T20 competition at present.

One positive it gives me something to watch every evening from 4:30 to 8:00 for the next 7 weeks.

Big Bash as you say is also my fav 20/20 comp although i read that the SA version is been upgraded with plenty of star players ear marked to join up.

It would be more interesting if they used bowling machines instead of bowlers and allowed fielding in the crowd !! Batsmen's game and boring...

My thoughts exactly. I have not watched one ball of it but do confess that I view the scorecards on cricinfo

Ben Stokes is the most over rated player. His T20 economy rate is over 9 and ODI over 6. Cannot believe he is the highest foreign player at the auction of the IPL ever.

Tahir should have been bought in the first round and showing his value.

Maxwell is belligerent at the moment.

Have they cut the size of the boundary? I watched today, looked pretty easy to hit sixes
