I thought that Hollywoodbets' continental betting would be a book on the continents but it isnt. So by summing the probabilities of all the South Americans and converting that sum into odds Holllywoodbets shld lay me abt 17/20 South America. Another bargain bet, and based purely on history, the odds shld be something close to 1/infinity. Oh, if only theory worked in practice, but must still be a bargain bet :-).

The fastest hattrick of seven minutes goes to Hungary's Laszlo Kiss against El Salvador in 1982.

Seven days to go

I'm opposing Holland in every game, think it's a money making opinion..
I know they have RVP,Robben and Sneidy. But have you had a look at that defence..they all play in The Dutch League, that's like English 2nd tier quality.
And if they start of bad, they will squabble and finger point, the only saving grace I can see for them is the manager.

'Bora' Milutinovic coached five different teams: Mexico, Costa Rica, USA, Nigeria and China PR at five different World Cups™.

Only one player has scored twice or more in four different World Cup's - Germany's Uwe Seeler. Pele has scored at least once in four different World Cup's.

At South Africa 2010, Jerry, Jhony and Wilson Palacios made FIFA World Cup history by becoming the first three brothers to be named in the same squad for Honduras. However, this year, Jhony has failed to make the squad, leaving Jerry and Wilson to play together as brothers.

Other brothers to play this year are Andre and Jordan Ayew of Ghana, and Kolo and Yaya Toure (yip that is he) of Cote d'Ivoire.

Another pair of brothers will also be playing but for different teams! Jerome and Kevin-Prince Boateng may be playing against each other in the same group (G) as Jerome plays for Germany and Kevin-Prince for Ghana.

Including tonight - 3 sleeps to go.
