Long suffering Saints fans deserve a team that can challenge for a European spot and have a run in the domestic cups. They have a nice stadium and a very good manager who can guide them upwards with a few class players

Liverpool may not be able to field a team at Arsenal on Thursday in the Caraboa cup due to covid and players gone to play in the African Cup

Southampton would already be a top 6 club if they weren't selling their best players to especially Liverpool...

There are three certainties in life that I know of...especially during Matthew le Tissier's days...death, taxes and Southampton surviving relegation !!

I thought that SA were one of the powerhouses of African football, How come they did not qualify for the AFCON tournament in the Cameroon? Surely if the likes of Cape Verde, Zimbabwe and the Comoro managed to qualify what happened to SA in their group?

Is it a case that the coach selects his favourites, or do they only select players who play in the SA league and not anyone who play their club football out of the country or are they just crap?

Man United have made their first signing in the January transfer window. He is a very good aide to have and will always see to it that United get out of every tight spot and close call decision. The sum paid is undisclosed but whatever they paid for him, last night he did a great job in helping United progress into the next round of the FA Cup.

His name is VAR

How can VAR be in operation at PL grounds in the FA Cup but not at any ground that is not a PL ground. If VAR were in operation at Forest v Arsenal then Arsenal would have been awarded a penalty in the first half, but they still would have lost as they were diabolical.

Every big team left in the draw avoided each other and all have a home match in the next round. ummmmmm.

... except for Leicester City who will be hosted at the other City Ground where there will be no VAR.

The latest variant is the KLOPP variant and it only takes effect when Liverpool have a tough away game coming up. The Football league are looking into Liverpool and their requests for postponements as only one player had a positive test before they were meant to travel to Arsenal last week.
