Aaah Bob, a buddy is a Huddersfield fan and we are so peeved off because of the late Monday night kickoff. A quiet night at home I guess.

Can’t wait to face Liverpool 😳

The FA cup lost its magic a long time ago They only played on a Saturday then it’s was Sat and Sun then they added Monday and Fridays now it’s mid week. The replays are gone the semi finals at Wembley was a crazy idea. Semi finals at Villa Park and other grounds made it special. Teams don’t put out full strength sides in the first couple of rounds because they want to save their players for the league matches. Winning the FA Cup for the big sides is no big deal anymore They want the league and Champions league. The draw is a farce as I am sure that the have got hot and cold balls as big sides don’t get to play each other until the quarter final stage maybe over the past 10 years you have gotten a big match in the first couple of rounds. They want the top sides in the semi finals. It’s impossible for a mid table and lower side in the PL to win it and sides from the lower leagues including the championship have no chance at all

The last team outside the first tier to lift the Cup was West Ham in 1980.

Lovely to see Middlesborough beat Man U and Spurs in successive rounds of the cup :woohoo:
Now for the Hammers to win and I can close a few bets

No luck with the Hammers but it goes like that
Both Chelsea and Liverpool go through but had to work hard
Looking forward to the next round of fixtures :woohoo:

We need a bit of luck now and draw a home game.
If we do that we have a chance of progressing.

My prediction for the quarter final draw which is to held this evening b4 Everton play. I posted on this thread that the whole draw is a farce

Here goes

The remaining strong sides Liverpool Man City and Chelsea will all avoid each other and most probably all get home draws

Chelsea v NottsForest or Huddersfield
Liverpool v Everton or Boremwood
Palace v Southampton
Man City v Middlesbrough

Actual quarter final draw

Palace v Everton
Notts Forest or Huddersfield v Liverpool
Middlesbrough v Chelsea
Southampton v Man City

Just as I said in the above post the tree big sides avoided each other. Fix.
