Interbet EPL 10 - Match Week 24 by Goal Guru

The top 3 on the table, Arsenal (50) Manchester City (46) and Aston Villa (46) face some tricky challenges in Match Week 24 of the EPL. All go into their matches with surprising recent losses to account for - the Gunners make a trip up to Leeds; City venture to Spurs where they have been tripped up before, and surprisingly high-flying, Villa host Brentford, who have wobbled a bit lately.

1. BRIGHTON 36 vs EVERTON 27: The Seagulls are the better side so are marginally preferred, but their form is dodgy and their coach is facing mounting scrutiny. Everton have got key players back (e.g. Ndiaye) and will put up a mighty struggle. Let’s kick off with [1][2][3]

2. WOLVES 23 vs BOURNEMOUTH 36: Wolves are proving harder to beat in recent matches yet still seemed destined to drop down. Bournemouth have improved their performance with some big wins in the past few weeks. They could edge it despite playing away, with the draw added as back up. [2][3]

3. LEEDS 30 vs ARSENAL 53: The home side are picking up points to stay above the relegation zone. But Arsenal, despite showing some frailties under the pressure of being log leaders, are an exceptional team that will try crushing Leeds once again. [3]

4. CHELSEA 42 vs WEST HAM 23: Chelsea have got off to a solid start under Rosenior and have maintained their fine Goal Guru Index rating through the season. For their part, West Ham are doing better as Nuno recruits, and crafts, a revised line up in a last ditch bid to save them from going down. Can the Hammers pick up much needed points from this daunting assignment? Maybe they can sneak a draw… [2][3]

5. LIVERPOOL 54 vs NEWCASTLE 47: Liverpool are a class side, albeit slightly unpredictable. Newcastle are only 7 points shy on the G.G.I but they are dubious when travelling, given a very poor away record this season. [1][2]

6. NOTTINGHAM FOREST 38 vs CRYSTAL PALACE 33: Covering all three results is the call here. Forest are arguably a better side than what their results starkly show. And even though it appears a thinly  stretched, Palace team is crumbling under disputes with the owners/manager, they are not playing too badly and might be able to salvage matters. [1][2][3]

7. ASTON VILLA 32 vs BRENTFORD 31: This is an interesting tactical battle. Villa plays a high line and Brentford’s direct style could reap dividends against such a set up. They might stun Villa, who have somehow managed to keep winning all the tight games and bely their lowly G.G.I. [1][2][3]

8. MANCHESTER UNITED 49 vs FULHAM 32; Under Carrick, Man U have pulled off victories against the two best sides in the League and seem en- route to secure their place in Europe. Expectations are heightened - if they sustain their form then Fulham, as organized as they are, could be in trouble. The draw is a live possibility but to contain costs we back United to stay on a winning streak.[1]

9. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 28 vs MANCHESTER CITY 49: Spurs have a history of upsetting the pale Blues. But there is little to suggest that, based on current performance, they can hold off Manchester City. [3]

10. SUNDERLAND 22 vs BURNLEY 14: The home side are favoured by virtue of their log position and excellent record in front of their fans, even though Burnley are scraping some commendable draws. [1]
