Steinhoff buys out British retailer Poundland for near nearly 600 million pounds. Poundland is a British variety store chain that sells most items in its stores for £1. I find this an odd store to fit into Steinhoff's strategy. Perhaps they want its distribution?

well they do own Pep Stores so yes it fits in well

What on earth is happening to this share price? It lost another 2% yesterday. It has shed 25% since end August. It has fallen through my policy price to sell and I am still holding, grrrr.

@Mac...maybe premiums paid for acquisitions may be difficult to recover...and most growth for some time through acquisitions and not organically...so concerns about long term earnings prospects...
