International business is booming, great business strategy controlling the whole production cycle and the pepkor buy was a masterstroke imo. Oh and there's some very clever chaps at the top, can't go wrong long term.

Business Day says "...it was announced that Steinhoff had increased its stake in PSG from 18.2% to 25.04%. Two nonexecutive directors of PSG, Jaap du Toit and Thys du Toit, disposed of PSG shares worth R1.8bn to Steinhoff in exchange for Steinhoff shares."

Frankfurt listing now only quarter 4.

The share price is not much off its high but with a positive trend.

I read last week they plan to retrench close to 1800 workers in South Africa :(

Also it plans to maker a rival offer for British supermarket, Sainsbury but that is a cash offer from its Europe presence and nothing to do with its JSE Listing.

There was an mcsi re weighting which happened close of business on monday. 143 million $ of stock was bought by foreigners. Results were good and sounding like some corporate action could be on the way.... Remember something that now that it is listed on the dax it is entitled to be rated among its peers on a pe basis.... Its a lot cheaper on valuations than some of those.
