Muhtiman, just to be clear, the refund was bets which i had taken on the Durbanville meeting which was abandoned, hence the withdrawal. There was a balance left in the account which was lost on a rugby bet on Sunday.

It would be like buying a ticket for a music concert, the band cancels because the guitarist broke his arm, and Ticketpro says leave your money in our account to purchase on whoever tours next, that can't be correct.

.....no way I or anyone else could know that ....as from your initial post which indicates that you withdrew your money because the meeting was cancelled....now if you took bets you should have received a refund but due to some glitch they have not sorted it out yet.....had a similar situation where a late night overseas meeting was cancelled and took a bit of time and effort to get a refund.....I'm sure that now that the details are out they should be able to sort it out....

Some banks in South Africa sell OTT vouchers or 1Voucher on their App or website. Maybe next time when depositing use that method.

You can also buy these vouchers directly online from OTT or 1Voucher and pay no bank fee.

I usually just deposit from my SA accounts.... but my 'spending allowance' had been used up on those and I felt like punting some rugby. I had some balance in my Europe debit card left over so decided to use some of that. Have used it with HB , never a problem
