I did a little exercise around the jockey challenge and think that the frenchman Antoine Hamelin looks like a fair price at 10's, although Moreira's book of rides look superior and he should win it. 14/10 too short for me !!

My thoughts ...

R1) Nitro Express with Callan aboard (probably his best for the day) at 8/1 worth a small eachway but should drift before the off so I will wait before placing a bet

R2) Allwongchoy with Hamilton up at 8's a lively each way. (I took him to ride the double with Victory Power in race

R3) Very open race with Zac Purton possibly on the right one Tung Wah Glory.. host of dangers include Bulb Elite, Truimphant Horse, Methane, Faithful Trinity and Oriental Elite. Possibly the right play is to rove Zac Purtons mount with the rest for the quartet.

R4) Happy Good Guys ... I am nailing my colors to the mast with this one. I am a bit of a Vincent Ho fan .... trifecta should be easy ..Happy Good Guys x Shangai Master x Victory Mastery and The Runner boxed.

R5) Hard to separate The Abraxas, Magic Supreme and Exceptional Desire. I am brassing the favorite here with Moreira up so you guys could probably hit it hard :blink: :blink:

R6) California Deepshot win box Shouson, Wind n Grass and Victory in Hand for exacta... box the trifecta

R7) Moreira double with Heavenly Thought (currently 18/1 on HB) ..Best Alliance a decent prospect for a place

R8) Victory Power for me...a decent outsider here is Hinchinlove currently 25/1 and add Winning Method to exotics

R9) Vincent Ho on Reliable Team for me at 6's ... trifecta boxed Reliable Team x Amazing Beat x Enrichment x Private Secretary x Helene Charisma.

I have probably cursed my bets with this post :evil: :evil: :evil:
