Eish.....
That one was backed from 4-1 into 17-10 and goes down a short head.
Probably had to do with the horse running 3 wide the whole way and nobody else to blame but the muppet himself.
One off the rail and the horse wins for sure.
But at least he manages to run a place this time.

The muppet managed to place on the 5-10 shot, very good for him not his usual 4th.
Pity about the bipot but good enough for the PA.

All these bookmakers are pricing up according to the Hong Kong Tote and you can access the Win and Place payouts for any race at any given time.

If the gross pool is 100k for instance and there is 50k win the odds is evens but with the takeout of 20% or 25% it ends up 5/10, 6/10. They are not making a book and Purton being the champion is backed in nearly every race. The odds can be misleading.

In USA Irad Ortiz is backed whatever he rides. Worldwide bookies prices his horses incorrectly and you can take advantage of other horses and some instances his horses is bigger what they should be. To me USA is the best place to backed fixed odds prior to the race due to incorrect price by the bookies.

USA, France, Singapore and Hong Kong if you watch the Tote odds and late money you can catch the bookies if you manage to be quick and get the price.
