Thought I would share my thoughts here as SA punters have lost touch on Mur Racing.
1st race
Nordic Prince looks the one to beat here. Heavily supported on debut but was slow into stride and ran on late. Should be better tomorrow and make him a banker here.
2nd race
Dont look past Havana Moon. Way ahead of the handicapper. Incredible looking horse and make him my 2nd banker.
3rd race
Make this a 2 horse affair. Global Dollar went to quick last time and faded. I think his better suited to 1400 and should fight it out. Warrior Cpt has had 2 runs this season and is very fit. His last win was over 1400 and is 4.5kg better off with Not In Doubt.
4th Race
Tyrion Lannister working well and was impressive in his barrier trial. Not taking on the strongest field and in SA form is a big runner. Ampersand ran well 1st time here over 990m and looks the biggest danger as he has come on from that run.
5th race
Xavion had excuses last time and looks a lot fitter. Raced wide through out last time and could track Lunafacation and run him down in the last few meters. If Lunafication gets a soft lead he could keep going. The class horse is Atarime but he may need the run and Nunes elected to ride Allez Morris.
6th race
Another 2 horse race in a small field. Goethe looking to make in 9 from 12 starts here but this is 1st run while Bless My Path has had a run. On indirect form Goethe holds Bless My Path but that 1 run this year could make the difference
7th Race
United Prince has been beaten once in Mur and has got better with every run. Makes his seasonal debut but has been good in training. Bugalugs just failed on debut and has improved, the extra 75m is in his favor and Meneluas could finish in the money.
