Current American Horse of the Year 2016, California Chrome, will take on Arrogate the Breeders Cup winner and 3yo of the year 2016 in America in the Pegasus World Cup this Saturday 28 January 2017 at Gulfstream Park. Will California Chrome avenge his defeat in the Breeders Cup or will Arrogate show that he is the next best thing in racing and that the Horse of the Year should have gone to him. An intriguing contest awaits us.

Chrome, never in it eased out of the race in the final turn. Favourite wins easily.

Arrogate won very easily. On another level. Champion.

Unfortunatly Cailfornia Chrome never come out from stall gate 12 as quick as he would have liked and faded badly turning for home. Thanks for the memories though.
