Boks VS England
6 years 11 months ago
SA 6/10
England 13/10
Cannot believe this.. Got to be the best 13/10 floating around. I was expecting England 9/10 on - 6.5 Handicap....

England have hardly been setting the World alight at the moment either. Finished 5th in the 6 Nations. I know it is only a Barbarian match so more of an exhibition but they looked poor in that loss. Ellis Park (or whatever they are calling it now) is a Bok fortress. I expect the Boks to bounce back have a good victory.

1 - Beast. No complaints, coming back to best. Although I do feel for Kitshoff who is playing and scrumming like a machine.
2 - Mbonambe. Really? OK, Marx and Kismark out, but Ake surely the best hooker in SA atm with the other 2 out.
3 - Nyakane. Hmmmm.... Please may Koch be injured hence he isn't lining up. Would also have Louw before Nyakane, although workload maybe catching up to him.
4 - Snyman. Deserved imo.
5 - Mostert. Deserved imo. Always been a fan.
6 - Kolisi. Our new captain, well done. Hopefully added responsibility can change his form. Been poor of late.
7 - Jean luc. Deserved imo. Best SA flank this season.
8 - Dwayne. Who knows? Haven't seen him playing.
9 - Faf. Hope he brings the form that has the UK talking about him.
10 - Pollard. Right choice.
11 - the lions dude (can't spell his name). Haven't seen him enough to comment, but wish him well.
12 - DE Allende. Should not be ahead of Esterhuizen imo.
13 - Am. Form 13 in SA? Deserved.
14 - Nkosi. I fear the worst
15 - Willie. Again, haven't seen enough to comment. But rave reviews from abroad..
All in all, all I can see is crash ball after crash ball after crash ball. And when the play doesn't revolve around 4,5,6,7,8 taking it up, I do not see it going wider than DE Allende. Hope Am and the gents out wider than him have been hitting the tackle bags hard this week.
Side note. Sure it was this time last year when Ireland sent a second string team over against the Boks, and beat them. Besides being a "new" team, they have not played together, so will take time to gel. I just don't see any other result than a England win.

Imo it will come down to preparation - not sure how much time the English has had together, but the 'Boks at least had 2 weeks - some very strange selections though - Beast .... not really one for teh future
Dyanti - huh ? de Allende ffs - and that hooker  Also can not believe that Pieter-Steph can''t make the starting line-up - this could go either way imo

Looks about right imo , if the All Blacks get on top early this could be embarassing for the French this weekend

My view on this one , SA will never get a better chance than this weekend to beat England as the visitors have been terribly out of sorts and dont have a great record in SA

not nearly the best side Rassie could have selected
1/2/3 - not the best by a stretch, I can't see this front row lasting more than the first half
8 - I watched some of Vermeulen's games and he is not the player he was 3 seasons ago
15 - never been a fan and always suspect on defense
We may struggle against a poor England team
good luck to the players making their debut

Agree with most here front row needs to be looked at , ignore quota system , 8th man and fullback are our weak points , both past there best
