Graham Beck passed away last night.

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

As a small breeder in the Cape, no single person has helped us more albeit indirectly. His Highlands Stud (& previously Maine Chance) have conducted themselves in the best possible ways to their fellow breeders.

He will be sorely missed, and his passing truly denotes an end of an era here.

This is really sad news.
He will be remembered for all the positive thing he have done for racing.
The father of racing..... we lost a big hearted person.

RIP Mr. Beck.
We were lucky enough to own a horse with him. To say he was a gentleman is a gross understatement! The breeding industry will surely miss this great man, in SA as well as in the US!
