Bookie's Please Help
14 years 10 months ago
1. On an Internet website of a bookie that offers limits of R200K daily winnings and or R100K limit on a single winning bet (multiple), I am unable to take a multiple bet without a message saying that Market Liability has been exceeded - The potential winning is below the R100K mark and is made up of 3 rough horses. Could someone please explain?
2. A few months back another prominent online bookie ran an add showing Big Wins on small bets . It went along the lines of multiples that had struck R200K + win on a R20 bet. In fact there was even a log of best performers. This particular bookie site has a R30K online limit and you have to phone for increased limits. I did exactly this. I phoned and tried to beat the record. The way this add was presented suggested that these performances were there to be challenged and be beaten. The clerk on the other side had other ideas however and advised that The R200K + winner had been on sports multiples and that I could not challenge the log with my selection of roughies in a multiple. The bet would not have won but this is not the point. Who are we fooling with these adds. (only Muggs maybe) I have wanted to bring this up for a while now but let it go. Now point one above has occured and it is time to question.
3. On another of these sites the multiple bet works on an "as and when basis" most of the time. Often cannot get the multiples on.
July is crazy season and there is a lot of money to be made by the bookies - retarded multiples will be taken and every person and his dog's sister will be taking a bet, yet these sites are limiting what can be done and won, often going against the very rules that they display on these sites or the marketing that is printed in the news papers.
Please explain.

Bookie on point 1 has sorted whatever the problem was with the site out - now accepting my lunatic treble. Thank you if you did react to the above post
