Goodluck guys..
There must be an explanation why they can price up at Scottsville and not Flamingo? who compiles the prices at Flamingo?

Durban bookies have always been on the ball, the boys from Phumelela/gauteng whatever are useless. They want to settle on monday morning first then only worry about betting for the new week........They are all older gents who cannot move with the times..........
That obviously is only my opinion and maybe there are other valid reasons why they don't price up earlier. Durban boys price up at least 2 days before any meeting run in their province....not the gauteng boys.

The form of |Immelman's last effort when third behind Happy Vallery and Saluki looks terrific and he is now back to 1400m, which is the distance over which all his wins have come. He looks the pick of the day at Scottsville. Freedom could get a race from Seal in the opener, the exacta looks a nice option here. Quality Emblem appears to have little to beat, but a 6yo maiden at cramped odds cannot be an attractive option,
At Flamingo, Officer Wales and Sir Dodge are my two picks. Hollywood Guest should go close in the seventh, but I make Springbok Summer a big runner and exactas/swingers with the two could be a good bet.(

Not too bad, as long as the electricity hasn't been cut off and we can still heat the tin,

At 12/1 I fancy E/W on Russian Kite.....perhaps the exacta with Immelman
