race 5 at the vaal today sums up the useless state of south african racing...hidden rave priced up even money fav hasnt run for a year and with our country not having barrier trials and our fat lazy journalists in gauteng having no idea where the horses are trained and also having lame fingers to at least PHONE THE TRAINER CONCERNED punters are left in the dark on how to structure their bets..you want fucking turnover but the people employed by phum to find the info to pass onto the punter sit on their fat fucking backsides...reading nicci garners preview not a word of contacting brian wild to find out about the wellbeing of the horse...thank fuck in natal we have david thistleton who is way ahead of those idiots in the gauteng region

I just phoned Brian and his words were "the horse is well, but been off for 10 months, has to beat Ibrox Park but should run well".
Not sure that tells us much but Brian had no problem replying and thanks to him.

very simple i dont spend any money on saftote on exotics ..nothing worse than including it or bankering and we hear afterwards that it was 50kg over weight and needed run badly..fuck the operators ubtil they get into line with hong kong oz usa england etc as far as trainers comments and jounos reporting on horses work etc they can suffer with declining tote pools and no increase in stakes for owners ..we have one public training gallop a year and thats the july and look how well its recieved by the public and how much turnover those gallops generate
