Usual competitive out of season racing at Turffies today; some pointers:
R3: Fort Jefferson hard to beat here imo
R4: Competitive novice plate - Sports Acclaim not running to his rating, so plenty others with chances
R5: Weak fillies and mares handicap - Personal Question should place, but I prefer Rev Counter while Shot in the Dark should prefer further, but could improve with blinkers; Polo has not placed at this track in 6 tries, so I prefer others - field leg imo
R6: Another competitve fillies and mares - Fakazi seems value at 6/1 after a good run 2nd last week
R7: Not getting any easier - First Up at 6/1 seems worth an each way bet
R8: I think Quick Single will prove too good here
R9: Over the Anvil should place, but this could be a nightmare end to the P6 - My Candy Girl has not run on the turf for ages, but would be a real danger in she runs anywhere close to her form when she beat Eternal Glory by 6 lenghts at Flamingo Park recently
Play well

Hell when you hear a trainer say its horse should be involved in the finish and it runs 10 lengths off the winner it makes you wonder if they know what they talking about.....

Kenilworth Race 7:check the results against the weights/MR's ....These type of anomolies WEEK AFTER WEEK. I stopped playing the Western Cape about a year ago.....no regrets and no reason for a mind change!
No wonder there has been such drop in turnovers in the WP.
