Mabey the information was not passed on from the previous trainers.mabey the new trainer tried something differnent before
the big sprint meeting at the flamingo festival!but i now know the horse has pulled up sore!might also explain bad run!
The horse is a very unlikely runner for that race now!

You may be right but I don't buy it....stable companion did pay R7,00 a win in a 6 horse race of which 50% came from the same trainer.

at least one, who follows racing constantly, knows, that trainers like peter miller and g.smith win from time to time with the allowance rider horse f.e. (and not with the favourite)
so, for me, its just not that important, "Why". maybe its the horses, maybe they just want different owners to win some times...

anyway, just bet from time to time both runners and you will even be happy about this, because of the odds.

Jack Dan is running again this Saturday in the August stakes in Vaal but vs very strong opposition in Renegade, Phunuyuka, Braggadacio, Storm Crossing, Imali, Gold Game...will be interesting to see how he goes here.

Jack Dan also turns out in the Feature sprint at Flamingo next Wednesday, with blinkers and tongue tie on. The opposition includes Cyber Case, who won the race last year and who was bought by Justin Snaith at the Jooste reduction sale in July. This will be his first run for the yard and no less than P.Strydom is taking the ride. Anton rides Deep Water (a good sand horse) for Charles Laird so Jack Dan has plenty of opposition again.
