Riding styles RSA jockeys vs UK jockeys

Lets get the opinions of the RSA jockeys...
Mark writes on the forum, Andrew Fortune too? and Strydom too?? and Celeste too???
next time watch a RSA race ..especially from the side angle......jockeys back straight...knees locked...all same posture...can see they have been schooled....
watch UK racing...watch the jockeys knees...arms flying like they are hanging washing on a line...

1. knees locked gives the jockey a better balance?
2. jumping up and down or bouncing stops the horse from getting into full stride?
3. jumping up and down makes the jockey lose balance?
4. why do most/all RSA jockyes have the same riding posture..knees locked...back straight...
5. watch the whip actions...perfect balance with the striding motion...jockey keeps on riding....in full stride...RSA
6. watch the whip actions...beating the #$%^&* out of the horse..no balance...jockey stops riding while using the whip...then graps then reigns..starts swinging the arms like they are hanging washing on a line...horse and jockey out of balance...no harmony...no full stride..UK..
7.why do 3rd world country like RSA send jockeys to 5 year apprenticeship and 1st world country like UK allow jockeys to do their time in the stables at Newmarket??
8.why were/are/will be the RSA jockeys champions in AUS, HONG KONG,UK,DUBAI etc..

dont let the RSA jockeys think they are perfect..some stuff up too..
but in my humble opinion...5 years schooling can be seen from a mile...RSA jockeys are real jockeys...the rest debateable...some maybe...like Richard Hughes...AP McCoy..and William Buick....
lets get the opinion of the SME's (Subject Matter Experts)...the RSA jockeys

No expert but locally a big Strydom fan plus Marcus
UK Ryan Moore
I always thought Lester was the best.
Not to forget Tony McCoy a man that can win on a bad horse and with a bit luck will win the BBC trophy.

I think, the english jockey stile is a bit influenced by the long races they have. you have to work more on the horse.

in germany we had 20 years ago too top jockey, often fighting out the finish: The one, Tylicki, was riding like an (american) Indian, moving his arms with the horse, seemed they are a unit. the other, Boczkai, was riding absolutely contrary style: tried to be totally motionless, just let the horse run under him, difficult to say, who was better.

he last was still riding in the last year, Tylicki comitted suicide after his career, but his sun is a great young talent in uk.

I've never been a fan of the Aussie 'windmill' style of using the stick, but I suppose there's more than one way to ride and whatever works is okay. I really enjoy the top American jockeys and was a Gary Stevens fan particularly. As for the UK, they have plenty of good riders and don't let Barry Irwin hear you calling Fallon a groom. Lol.

You use AP as a yardstick andre, this just proves your at the wind up,he must be the ugliest Jock(riding style) to have been a champion imo..

Uniformal riding styles breed mediocre Jocks!

personally i'd like the jocks on my horses to always be motionless during the race ;) Unfortunately it's normally washing line stuff very early on :(

AP McCoy rides the jumps and sticks...never tried it...hence I cannot comment on his style...good or bad...common sense says he is doing something right...wins the most races.....or are the others just that bad...????

Flat racing...no comments from our jockeys...????
or are they all having a good laugh because they know they are better schooled and riding styles are in harmony with the motion of the horse....

reality is...horses on sprints cannot get into stride if the jockey jumps up and down..swing his arms hanging washing....
imagine our jockeys starts doing that...
even in the july ...2200 meters ....which is equal to the average UK race...the RSA jockeys ride in harmony...
our jockeys perform like ballarina's while the UK jockeys looks like a drunk boilermaker from Brakpan trying to boogie...
