Mary Lou looks the part, while Igugu should also be hard to beat especially she should love being stretched to 1600m today. She ran on late when she won over 1200m and being by Galileo it's reasonable to think that a longer trip will suit her better. Land Baron maybe didn't quite get the mile last time and is worth another chance back over 1400m.

I was also impressed by Igugu's debut, but you certainally won't see me rushing to get 6/10. Polo is a 3 time winner, two years older and racing off her correct MR. We obviously don't know how good Igugu is and could be a champion in the making but I won't be taking the 6/10 to find out, bookies obviously don't want to take a chance with MDK horses. Rampant Jet showed on Tuesday that it is not that easy is come into a competive race with only one run under your belt.

It seems mostly straight forward today, with a couple of tough races to finish:
R3: Grand Slam and Liberty Eagle has both placed in some competitive maiden races and stand out here; I think the in-form Siciliano could be 3rd best here
R4: Land Baron comes from strong formlines and is the obvious one - one to consider for trifectas/quartets is Richinstyle (any price) who finished in front of Pitchblack (5/1) last time they met
R5: Club Victor has made the final field for the Emerald Cup, so not sure how hard he is going to try to win this, while Fenerbache has been disappointing on the sand but could improve back on the turf; include the Woodruff coupling in JP and P6 in case the top two fluff their lines
R6: Igugu should really prove too classy here
R7: Mary Lou rated to win again - some money for Ex Unitate Virus to beat her, but I can't see that happening
R8: Competitive - I think Blue Nile is a big price and could go close over his favorite trip
R9: A minefield - I'm putting 6 horses in the PA
