The Sea Cottage story could potentially be the best of the lot if made into a movie.

Is Ster Kinekor part of Prime Media? Well if they are I expect Phumelela to have a great marketing plan in place when this movie hits our shores - Tickets to the races etc the marketing opportunities would seem endless - I hope they are prepared - voucher to Race at the Big T followed by free tickets to see the movie at Eastgate or Southgate ? Advert before the screenings etc RA? I really hope they don't miss the float here as it might be ages before another racing story hits the screens

The Primadonnaship is the best cure for insomnia, but becomes a problem as it's on so often. Furthermore if u switch to the news channel to try'n wake up it's saturated with the uninteresting antics of one of the Primadonnaship's spoilt and overrated brats.

I remember watching that movie Insomnia (could not sleep for a week).

I refuse to see this movie.

I lived the Secretariat story as a journalist and I don't want any silly Hollywood images hopping around in my brain.

I think there should be a law against motion pictures that distort the facts of actual non-fiction films.

What was done to Seabiscuit was criminal.

Of the racetrack movies I have seen, Phar Lap and Champions were the two best.

But I prefer the B movies of the 1930s, 40s and 50s, such as Boots Malone and Salty O'Rourke, because they were pure fiction.

I would love to see a movie done of Sea Cottage! Now that would be interesting as hell.

As for Secretariat, the only real story there was the horse. And that doesn't play well with audiences.

Hey Barry, one movie I think should be made is of Ipi Tombe. Wasnt she bred on a farm occupied by Zimbabwean war veterans? Where is she now?

Barry, what was wrong with the movie Seabiscuit? I enjoyed it but will be interested to know what the movie got wrong.

The key to any movie is allowing the characters to develop as the story unfolds, often in these sports movies the characters have to take a back seat and get lost in the action.

Hopefully the real life fairytale will take place in 2 weeks when Zenyatta hopefully flies over the boys in the Breeders Cup.

The sport of kings needs the Queen to take the crown jewels!
