Scotia on odds and ends.

Good evening all and hope the Clan are raring to go for another weekend.
I am going to take in a few Classic Malts on Friday night so a few wee drams of Dalwhinnie could be the answer, not sure if I should be wearing the kilt as its a bit hot in Joburg.
As they say Slainte Mhath (pronounced Slanja Va)

We are getting used to the PVR and must say its great catching the racing after hours, you cant lose much and must say Winning Ways this week was superb, James with Graeme Hawkins and Laff with Anton Marcus was a first class show and well done to Interbet for sponsoring.
As far as Mrs S she is still sulking since Come Dine With Me was stopped, but The Street would seem a good substitute, gripping stuff.
The site is going as well as ever and very pleased we are getting some feedback from the RA with regards Clan concerns, communication has to be the way to go for the betterment of racing and a step in the right direction.
Plus on the subject of racing we have some great days planned over the month of November. The Charity Mile on the 6th with all the celebrities, I am hoping to meet Leanne Manas from Morning Live.
Then the jockey test on the Friday evening 12th, the lads on the site have plenty to say and may the best team win.
The big one is on the 27th November and just to make sure we are all in with the action we will be running a competition for the month to find out who is our top tipster with over R12,000 worth of prizes and betting vouchers from our generous bookmaking sponsors...........Click here to Join the Comp
test on Friday 12th and Sunday 14th
Lets talk about the Melbourne Cup and The Breeders Cup. Well if you live in Australia you will be aware that next Tuesday the 2nd of Nov you have a race that stops a nation.
I have been keeping an eye on the new superstar So You Think and I think that it will not stay and feel its a far better option to stick with Shocking, but I have been wrong before.
As far as the Breeders Cup meeting Midday evens is the bet for Friday night 5th and on the big day I am sure that if Zenyatta makes it 20 from 20 at 7/2 she will bring the roof down.
Uncle Mo can win the Juvenile race, Goldikova 12/10 can keep her superstar status by winning the Mile and Workforce goes for a special treble after winning the Derby in England, the Arc in France and the BC Turf in the States and only Behkabad can stop the 12/10 shot.
Finally AP McCoy has now gone 14/10 for the BBC Sports Personality....If you needed anymore convincing Click Here
Plus yet another pretender to the throne has popped up at 3/1 "McDowell" (who are these people)? sure he was in Clockwork Orange.
Well have a great weekend and may your God be with you
Good punting!
