Hibby i went their on a matric end tour, and we landed up in a dingy, little cellar near a fleamarket,in the nearby radius of the famous Colloseum, believe me we ordered pasta, cannelloni, and untill today,i dont recall anything as good as that.Three plates later believe me the Italians are masters at cooking, food to die for.

Magic did you see the Pope?
When I was young going to Italy, went for a haircut and the barber said he had been last year and said its crap, food horrible, females ugly and you will have no chance of seeing the Pope.
It made me very sad as I had paid a few quid, however off I went.
When I got off the plane, the first person I met was the barber, he asked how did you get on?
I said it was magic, great food and lovely females, he looked shocked and says "bet you never seen the Pope"
I said, seen him, he was a close to me as you are now!
What happened? the barber asked.
I said I was at the Vatican with thousands of people, he came from the rostrum, the crowd opened up and he stood as close to me as you are now.
The barber asked "what did he say" and I replied
Where the F**k did you get that haircut!

There is a saying that great French food is a gift from the chef, but great Italian food is a gift from God. I don't know who said it (although it sure as hell wasn't a Frenchman!).
