A Day At The Races - The Italian Way - By LIPS

If you did not read the "Magic" article by Matthew Lips in the Sporting post this weekend, you missed something great. What a great read and must rank as one of the best racing stories I have read in a long time. It has everything, the normal Magic humour, history, poetry and a great great story. Personally, I think you are a dam good writer.....

Keep it coming with more great articles......

Thanks guys. Mind you I was writing in my head for 2 weeks before I got back and actually wrote it. And yeah, some of our jockeys would have sh@t themselves!

It sort of fizzled out. I for one was not happy with the direction some of the guys were taking, to be honest. Maybe I'll write one all by myself one of these days.(

i hope you do magic as i feel that a lot of the legends of horseracing dont do some type of article book etc and their tales are lost forever..would love to have read something written by the passmores before they passed away
