If it carries on like this, I can't see them racing tomorrow evening at Greyville. We had quite a lot of rain last night, and its been steady rainfall the whole day today........
What's the weather forecast for Friday evening in the Gauteng......???

Cheers

I agree, can't see them racing tomorrow night. Absolutely pouring again.
Is there any chance of them postponing to Friday night and us having 2 night meetings?

According to Mr RA:

'The reason the meeting was not moved to today is due to the abandonment policy of the operators which states that if a meeting is postponed (the sole discretion lies with the operator), it will need to move to a ‘stand alone’ slot, which would have only been possible for tonight, and preferably only postponed for 24 hours.

So I guess 'NO'

That sounds like an excuse to save stakes.....they don't mind having overlapping meetings when it suits them.
When i asked about the same thing some years ago,I was informed by Gold Circle, that GC policy was Western Cape and Natal would not overlap.......again that only applies selectively.

Not sure what the difference is between scheduling 2 meetings on the same 'slot' versus postponing a meeting to the same slot?
