Today there is a celebration for the 150 years since the Indians came to South Africa. I will be at the track in the View Room. Dave Scott what would you do without us Indians since you love, Vindaloo, Breyani, Curry, Samosas etc... I personally want to say "THANK YOU" to everyone for being treated like a brother on this forum, and to my fellow "Kamanchies (Red Indians), all the best and here's to another 150 years.

Sorry to correct you... Indians were here much longer before, about 50 of them at the W Cape (mostly females). They inter-married (or got screwed) and got assimilated into both the white and black communities.

Backing this is the presence of Indian DNA amongst many Afrikaners and even blacks.

For one, I trace back to the Khoisan, the bloody cattle stealing thieves! Now, what term does one refer to for an Indian / German / Spanish / Khoisan mix (considering this is a teetotaller (Yeh?), halaal food eater, neither Christian nor communist, and possibly a jihadist!)? I know of Coloureds (not to mention the more verbose references!) & the 'others'!

No wonder I have that constant urge to not just play, but also steal one or two horses......... if not bomb the bloody rain-soaked tracks!

You see... when it gets to my head; not the booze! Heh..heh!
