Rocket Man VS Sacred Kingdom
14 years 6 months ago
Sunday in Hong Kong Rocket Man will attempt to beat Sacred Kingdom in his backyard, they drew stall 8 and 6 respectfuly . Another interesting runner is the South African filly Sweet Sanette, stall 5 with Jeff Lloyd up and a 9LBS pull in the weights. However she was beaten by SK over 1000m carrying 18LBS less !?

Yes. Of course I can. Just like they didn't cover most of the last meeting at Doncaster when half the racing world was following the Hanagan v Hughes battle on tenterhooks and wagering on the outcome, (Of course they did cover the apprentice race in which neither of the fellas obviously could ride, but hey, that's life8-))

Rocket Man and One World deadheat. Sacred Kingdom only finished 5th and it sounds like Cerise Cherry ran sixth.

That was a top performance by Rocket Man. He is certainly not quite there yet, never been to Hong Kong and he looked beaten with 200m to run!
The 5 pounds he had to give to the runner up certainly helped the dead heat imo.
The Big Cathay Pacific sprint is going to be a cracker!!!!
