Even the guys on At the Races were laughing at his commentary. Now I understand why you guys said he is hopeless. You all wrong. He is a joke and if I were a subscriber to Tellytarack I would demand a free subscribtion.

I don't know if the 2nd from Turf. went out to the UK....Nico called the names of the first 4 jockies past the post instead of the horse names......what would those names mean to them?

GET SMILEY BACK HIS BIG ENEMY mR hAwKiNs is not here anymore how was his commentary in the Summer Cup for the archives I hope they re audio it with a COMMENTATOR really we understand the mans problems but this is redicilous you can clearly hear in his commentary which horse he backed I bet you his wasnt in the first 10 in the Summer Cup:-)

Not that I know Smiley personally, but, I had a demo of his ability which is amazing!

When he came up to my place, he hadn't seen the card (overseas & local). He looked up the names and numbers a minute or two before the start, then, switched the volume off, and he started commentaing.... on the button!

He has a fantastic photographic memory.

With guidance and motivation, I don't see why he could not only come back, but also satisfy some of his critics for his 'add-ons'!
