Decision to abandon Greyville last night ...
14 years 6 months ago
I don't stay in Durbs and I know I'm going on about the same moan but who made the decision to abandon Greyville yesterday and based on what? A full cricket match was played a stone throw from Greyville without interruption. From midday the sun was shining. If the decision makers cared to consult the weather predictions they would have learned that the rain was about to stop AND that saturday was gonna be hot and rain free. As it is at the moment we get nominations for fields of 120 plus and owners leave the game daily. Restaurants were fully booked ....... Makes absolutely NO sense to me! Is it about saving the stakes pot?

Tend to agree with you Dynasty, they don't even try to get the meeting on the go OR even have a plan B.... Surely they could of run the meeting tonite, weather permitting?
