The wintry weather is taking its toll on the weekend's fixture list with a number of games postponed.
Seven Premier League matches have fallen victim of the weather. Chelsea's crunch clash with Manchester United at the top of the table scheduled for Sunday is off and so is Blackpool's encounter with Tottenham.
The match between Wigan and Aston Villa at the DW Stadium has also been postponed due to 'freak conditions in the town overnight', the Latics have announced.
Liverpool have confirmed that their evening match against Fulham is off after an assessment of 'prevailing weather conditions'.
Arsenal's game with Stoke City at the Emirates does not go ahead, as after heavy snowfall the game has been postponed.
Meanwhile, Birmingham City's clash with Newcastle is cancelled, with St Andrews and the surrounding area covered after 'incessant snow' and the decision being made on health and safety grounds.
West Brom announced that Sunday's Black Country derby against Wolves will also need to be rearranged after the area received more than 20 centimetres of snow in the early hours of Saturday morning.
That means all of Sunday's matches in the Premier League have been cancelled as a result of the adverse weather.
