I just wish he would stop SHOUTING !! Otherwise I believe he does have a passion for what he is doing (or else he is a good actor)

Gareth is ok. He seems to know what he is talking about, which is the most important thing.
His tone is one paced. If he gets that right, he will be fine.

Tommy, maybe it is his 1820 hairstyle that freaks you out. lol

Gareth is a proper racing person. He's actually worked (still works) with horses, which puts him way ahead of several of his colleagues all by itself. He is enthusiastic and he's still young. I see potential there, keep it up mate!:)-D

1st of all I don't think any of you can really judge, unless you've sat in front of that camera and did an outstanding job..
Gareth hasn't been presenting for long, but the improvement he's made is really good IMO. He's still young, with much room for improvement, so give him a break !
I don't find him creepy at all. And apparently that wink goes out to his girlfriend, so don't label it as creepy, rather call him whipped.. I see alot of potential in him, and he definitely knows his game. So kudos on doing something you are passionate about Gareth ! Keep up the good work !! And to the haters, if you really can't like him, mute your TV ;)

the lad needs to stop talking shit such as talking up win pools comparing tote odds to bookies sp all to come bet etc..personally i dont think he has a clue what he is talking about especially commenting on how that laird 1st timer went down yesterday...darryl maree sets the standard for all round knowledge on the game and what he has forgotten all the presenters together will never learn...presenting skills can be learned in time but knowledge and a feel for the game is another story
