How lame are you that you have to start a discussion on a presenter... who by the way is very good! He is intelligent as well as very funny! Not shy at all. He has been in the horse racing industy since he was small and he lives an breathes this indusrty! He knows it better than anyone I know... So I would like to see you do better! Watch this space boy.. he is going to make it big and then you will swollow your words! He dedicates all his time an effort to his job an he always tries to be the best that he can be!! He has worked his way up and he did it on his own.. Go Gazza!!! Your the best!!! When you have shown as much hard work and dedication as he has then only will you have room to judge, until then I suggest you zip it! (

The guy who used to set the standard was Mark Wilmont. He could really find them.
I know he had a problem with his throat/voice. Does anybody know what has happened to him?

the other day the lad was going on and on about the 1 to 3 favourite the best overall meanwhile the horse had been scratched 6 hours ago...the biggest tragedy is that grant huntley hasnt got a presenters job with tellytrack...his knowledge passion for the game is unequalled but unfortunately he is not part of the clickety click

I'm glad that you have faith in your friend and I know he will be just fine. If you go back and read my comments you will find that calling me/us "haters" is perhaps going a little bit far? We like to give constructive opinions for the betterment of racing (for the most part). I think he has potential and he will in all probability be just fine............HOWEVER that won't change my opinion about him being just a little off.....and I'm also glad that Gareth himself found it funny as it was really meant as just that......
On a side note, we must be doing something right and some influential people must be reading this site (and others hopefully) as we have attracted some new posters here. Hopefully you guys will come on more often and share your views of the horse racing industry with us. We are all passionate about ONE THING. This industry.
Thanks for all the replies, good or bad, I appreciate it.
Gareth, go from strength to strength and build yourself a good career in this game! i really do envy you!

As I said ,he seems a nice enough bloke and,I accept the opinion of those that know him, that he has a good knowledge.
In that case ,get rid of the spin and the idiotic wink and let that knowledge become his hallmark..
(he and pinkcherrypie must make a wonderful couple on dates....the winker with the swollower..sic) ho ho ho.
