Once more, Classic Lecture is my best bet. I thought he probably should have won last time and this quick 1000m could actually suit him right down to the ground. Nice P6 coupling with Bermuda Prince, too. I also like Lockheed, but one of these days that money McIntosh is going to pop out of the woodwork. This is the horse who finished second (albeit a long way adrift) behind Lizard's Desire in the EP Derby a couple of seasons ago.

Rozelana and Mangaliso also could represent a bit of value, while Romero and Sporting Rooney stand out for me in the seventh with News Talk the only other one I can have in that race.

Morning Clan, we have 3 runners today.....

Race 1 Carte Blanche as always he is well. Maybe a new jockey will do the trick. Dont leave out Wild Creek in exotics.

Race 6 Classic Lecture & Bermuda Prince. We feel that Classic should have won last time out but allowed to go too early. The rain should make the going perfect for him. Bermuda very well also, dont leave him out. Pick 6 bankers and put both in your jackpot.

From the Steenkamp yard put Forever Casey, The Dub, and Eastern Colours into your PAs.

Hey guys

Race1: Olympic Flyer looks the business but there has been a flood of money on the 2 first timers at bettingworld.
Race2: Air in Motion ran a good race in a winners race last time. It is my first choice in an open event.
Race3: Sparkler is hard to beat. Banker 17(Scr) in the p6.
Race4: Wide open. Get the pin out.
Race5; Mangaliso and Forenzic. But go wider in the exotics.
Race6: Going for Classic Lecture again. Strong back up with Bermuda Prince in the p6. Banker 6(Scr).
Race7: Storey Bridge for me. Must go close. Would have been bullish if it was over 1200m.
Race8: Lockheed is hard to beat.

My pa: 2,4,9 x 7 x 3,5,8,10 x 3,8,10 x 8 x 1 x 4. R36 full unit
P6: 17 x 2,3,5,6,10,14 x 3,8,9,10 x 6 x 1,3,10 x 4. R72 full unit.

Play well.

Looks like a tough a card in PE....

R1: OLIMPIC FLYER
R2: AIR IN MOTION
R8: VAE VICTUS

Classic Lecture is nice one but i wouldn't take the price on offer as i believe Ballando will give him a serious challenge...

Thanks Magic.

Romero is scr. Don't you think the dist may be sharp for Sporting Rooney?

Good morning all,

Thanks NewTurf again for your post. I always look forward to it on PE racing days. I love following your stable as well. Is there any chance you could seperate Classic and Bermuda? Just for us who like to have a bet on the nose!

Good luck to all and have a great day's racing

The only time Sporting Rooney ran over 1000m he easily won his maiden, on this course. It remains his only win so 1000m could be his right trip, although his habit of being slow away does concern me a bit. If the going comes up soft throw Prime Directive into the mix.

King's College seem's to be improving and the Romero formline is strong with Gaja & Zaafiel winners. Only worry is that Vlooh's record is not that great.
Snaith's runner in the 5th, Power & Glory should place if ready. He's beaten the like's of Barberton daisy.

Play well

heard about Collateral damage in the last, Slainte, full sister to Surfin Usa, going 1800m for the first time, could be a good quartet horse. Te Dansant, blinkers back on from a good draw, could be a nice place bet
